I write for film, web and print. Most of my non-fiction writing is about films specialising in issues around gender/sexuality, culture and ethnicity. I have written for publications including Pink Paper, Diva, Black Filmmakers Journal and Chroma Journal.

When anyone falls in love how much of the object of their desire do they really see? The intense excitement of romantic fever is fuelled by imagination and fantasy. All cultures maintain sexual myths about Black and white woman. If a Black woman and white woman were to fall in love with each other, it is natural that their sexual desires will be coloured by gendered racial fantasies.
