Fire This Time! – Queering Black History Month 2006
This festival was initiated by Chroma and rukus!
It included a film workshop run by Cheryl Dunye and myself, writing workshop led by Dorothea Smartt and Saradha Soobrayen and photography workshop led by Ingrid Pollard and Ajamux.
The day also had a panel discussion By Any Means Necessary – The Challenges and Delights of Being an LGBT Artist. The evening had performances MC’d by Miss Kimberly ending in tunes by Biggy C from Bootylicious. Performers included Stacey Makishi, Maria Mojo and Selina Rodrigues.

London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival 2004 – 2005
Programmed the most successful festival ever in terms of box office receipts. 25,000 people attended the festival in 2005. I organised debates on Ragga and Homophobia and Religion and Homosexuality.

Problematising Race – Whitechapel Gallery 2004
Forcing white filmmakers/artists to show work where they have to to negotiate their race and artists of colour to throw off ‘the burden of representation’. This was commissioned by Ian White.
